Hi I'm Josh Seyse
I am a Senior at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I will be graduating in December 2025 with a BS in Finance & Management Information Systems! I am very passionate about the aviation industry and startups. I love to try new things and learn as much as possible about the world around us. Over the Fall semester of 2024, I had the opportunity to study abroad in London and Rome. While abroad I got to travel to 13 countries and explore the rich and diverse culture in Europe.
Internships

I spent three months learning about the Aircraft Appearance department and helped create a protocol on the DC3 task card for the cleaning of in-seat power units on aircraft.

At the beginning of 2024 I spent time working for Allied Financial Partners as a tax intern. I spent time filing small business and personal returns. I also used QuickBooks to reconcile business accounts and Excel for credit card statement data entry.

Throughout my summer with Five Star Bank I had the opportunity to look at new Fintech companies for partnerships, build new marketing content for loan packages to increase cross-selling of various products and working with auto loan underwriters learning about loan risk and opportunities.

I spent my freshman summer at an RIT startup accelerator program. Through the program I completed more than 100 customer discovery interviews, built marketing plans and assisted in the development of our company brand book and spearheaded the development of a business plan presented during Accelerator Demo Night.
Projects
DeliverU
During the start of my college career, I built the startup DormDash and rebranded it to DeliverU. It was an on-campus food delivery service allowing students to get food delivered directly to their rooms without leaving. We were running it for approximability a year and a half. We went through an RIT startup accelerator giving us the skills needed to continue running the startup. Over the course of the time running we completed roughly 750 orders.

Wall Street Themed Card Deck
The summer before going to college I designed, developed, and sold the Wall Street themed card deck. I’ve always had an interest in Wall Street so I thought building a card deck would be a great introduction into the world of business. I knew nothing about what went into making a card deck but even something so simple is still so complex to build.

Daily Inspiration For The Mind
In 2019 I wanted to test my coding skills so I spent about 3-4 months building, coding and learning how to put an app on the app store.

Building Computers
One of my favorite things to do is build new computers. I’ve built two computers in my life so far and there is nothing more fun than researching all the parts needed and customizing the PC how you want. My latest build from 2021 contained a Geforce 3070 and all-white pieces from Corsair to light up the PC in all RGB lighting.

Eagle Scout Project
In high school, I achieved the highest rank in Boy Scouts. Through years of camping, backpacking, high adventure activities, and nagging from my mom I reached Eagle Scout. For my project, I did a restoration cleanup of the cemetery owned by my church. It was a location that was not maintained well and we added new benches, trash cans, and signs. Then we cleaned up the grounds, graves and fences. The church now does an annual cemetery cleanup to keep it looking nice.
